Cant stand having a 100 slot server with no players online except the few regulars? Dont like how the players complain ' why are there no people online, this server sucks!'? Cant obtain the anger of how hard you advertised for the server with nothing in return? Dont understand why ur server isnt on the popular server list when the your spawn is 1000x better then theirs, You want a way to solution to this problem of getting more players. Ive got it in the next 12 handy tips.

Advertising takes time, effort and typing. All three of these are hell to most minecraftians such as me but i do it all and still get 1 or 2 players to join. Theres tricks, techniques and more to getting more players on your server such as advertising on the right place. Here are my tricks and tips of how to fill all your slots.

Tip 1. Advertise on popular youtube videos saying, 100 slot server, Awesome admin, Insane plugins and more all at (IP of server) sorry if this is considered spam youtubers! Remember short and quick advertisements will achieve players

Deadvantages of tip, Takes lots control+v which is pasting (Its really not bad) also it takes filling in the codes to check if your a spam bot from youtube, they can get annoying sometimes+ they happen often now a days on youtube

Tip 2. Make a Advertising rank for your server, Every person wants to have a higher rank than other ppl and theres not better way to use your players to advertise and get more players, hehe, theres loads of advantages of this technique since it gets tons of players when u have 5 ppl advertising all the time, it makes gameplay even more fun for the regulars on your server with loads of new players on the server

Tip 3. Work with a high ranked pmc player to play with you as a admin/ co owner and have them post the server on the server part of pmc so you have players not only joining your server but telling their friends that the server is co-owned but some awesome minecraft player who has lots of experience, the advantage to this is that the pmc player gets exp for posting your server and you get more players to play on your server

Tip 4. Post server and advertise server on pmc, this regularly gets u 10 players, not much but better then nothing :D and each player can invite their friends meaning in a matter of minutes you've got 20 players in your server quickly and easily.

Disadvantages: lots of griefers and hackers look for servers on pmc, make sure you've got your gaurd up and your hack preventing plugin ready XD

Tip 5. Make your server Look and Feel legit, dont hand out diamonds if you get bored this will attrack players for 2 days then afterwards ppl will get bored with stacks of diamonds and no point of playing.

Tip 5 and a half. Make your spawn look cool and cooler because thats your first impression on players also show off your plugins right away.

Tip 6. Have a small but strict rule system. Noone can remember a thousand rules but they can remember 1-3 so make strict yet few rules

Tip 7. Get regulars, regular players invite their friends and play all the time, it looks good if a new player sees your slots always somewhat fillled so they see the server is not a ghost town.

Tip 8. Get CRAZY plugins. Get more arrows, Cannons, Backpack, and more plugins, my server had a more arrow plugin and i had players begging me to make my server have more slots( i had a 30 slot private server) that was filled to the top every little second :):

Tip 9. Make your donations a reasonable price not 10 dollars for a full set of god armor. Make a whole bunch of donation packs for a dollar to 20 dollars dont be making 10 - 100 dollar packs, noone wants to spend money on a game unless its really cheap. Also your donations will be coming in like a clown circus

Tip 10. Advertise every day for a few minutes. If you have 10 players a night joining ill gurantee 2 will be regulars and in a matter of one month you've got a guranteed 80 slots filled all the time. 80 SLOTS FILLED YES I SAID IT and this isnt even including the nonregulars that will fill up a extra 10-20 slots.

Tip 11. Have set dates of 'Advertising Night' so all your admin and mods know when to be on exactly to talk to all the new players and advertise for a hour or two that night and have a few ppl advertising that long and you'll have quite the crowd join the server.

Tip 12. Have a sponsor, This is a little idea i just thought of but have a somewhat popular youtuber advertise your server at the end of each youtube saying Join my server i sponsor at (IP of server) with 1k viewers on his videos thats gonna get u players to join your server nonstop.

I know each tip will help you gain a superb amount of players because ive tested each one and ive used each one for each server ive moderated, managed or even owned and each one has helped me fill up my servers slots to a maximum and even upgrade my computer from all the donations.
