Hi KieranJR here,
I'm going to tell you how to use a really old trick that I never used because I thought it wouldn't work.
So what you do:
1.Start mining
2.When you hit y:5 or layer 5 mine in a 3x3 block space
3.Find the diamonds :)
or if this doesn't work use this technique:
1.Start mining
2.When you hit y:12 or layer 12 mine in a 3x3 block space
3.Find the diamonds :)
