Do you have people on your server that you don't particularly enjoy? Are you bugged by what you see them do? Here's some useful tips to get them to get better, or just plain get rid of them!

Situation 1: Bad Builder

One of the most common problems that I find on a multiplayer server is this:You don't like it, do you? Well here is how to stop this from happening! First think you need is PermissionsEX, or some form of rank creator. The players can earn ranks by building amazing things. The only way they can get a good builder rank is if an admin promotes them. So, tell your admins the guidelines to building, and if someone builds a dirt shack, they won't get promoted.

Situation 2: Griefers

This one is a long one. Griefers have been a problem ever since multiplayer came out in early alpha. It may seen hard, but it can be stopped. Griefers usually come in bulks. Once they get banned, they hop on an alternate account, and they also come in teams. The easiest way to stop them is with the use of plugins like HawkEye, MCBans, and Worldguard. HawkEye allows you to search a block to see who placed or destroyed it, so you can see who destroyed your buildings and ban them easily. MCBans is a huge network of servers with a rep system. When a user hits a 0 rep, they can't log into MCBans servers anymore, stopping griefers. Worldguard allows you to protect a certain area in your world from other players, this will not allow griefers to destroy the protected blocks. There are other plugins too, but these are the most handy.

Situation 3: I am from Planetminecraft/McBans etc.

This is quite frankly a common problem people run into when they own/operate a server. This alone can get your server destroyed! If you get this problem, you should remember these things:

1. PlanetMinecraft does NOT review servers!

Many people don't realize that PMC doesn't review servers.

2. McBans has a reporting system for people who impersonate their staff members

So, to have a little fun before you ban them, you can troll them! It's quick, easy, affective, and a good way for you and your admins to get a laugh out of some stupid people before you ban them! First, ask them for their profile link, they will most likely not understand what you are talking about and they will realize how stupid they made themselves look! Then, you can ban them!
