first what your gonna need to do is get a piston sticky or plain, then a lever. Go and defeat the enderdragon, then the portal will appear. collect the exp points then get on the rim of the portal, DO NOT GO IN, right click the egg and it will teleport close by. After that put down the piston facing the egg and put down the lever, activate the lever and the egg will pop off the ground into a collectable form.
