I’ve been asked many questions like “where should I advertise my minecraft server” and “How can I get my Minecraft server popular?”. So I though I’d make a blog post about how you can increase your server’s playerbase by posting and getting involved in many websites and forums.

Back around in 1.7 when Minecraft was in BETA is when I started hosting my own servers. I always wondered where should I advertise my server to gain a pretty good playerbase. After doing research I found quite a lot of sites however not all of these were helpful.

I decided to provide a list of tips and information on how YOU can help increase your minecraft server’s playerbase. The following also includes some websites that you can advertise and share your Minecraft server on.

YouTube and other social media usage:

First of all I would highly recommend you to do a YouTube video or have a YouTuber do a few videos for you on the server. This method is known to bring in almost half of the players to the server. Making a video and publishing it is not the way it’s done. You have to optimise it correctly and allow Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

Server Listing Sites:
