Are many mod tutorials failing endlessly, or just want to know how. This
will tell you how. Different types of mods require different ways to install them. Here are the different ways to install different mods.
Forge
If a mod says its forge compatible or you install it with forge this how you can install it. Fist you go toMinecraft Forge Downloadsand download the installer of the version of forge that you want if its 1.5.2 or 1.6.4 get the file. Then go to the search bar and look up terminal and type or copy and paste:chflags nohidden ~/Library/ then hit enter. Then open up your installer and click on install client then hit ok. Open up the minecraft launcher and there should be a profile called forge. Open up minecraft with that profile. When it get to the main screen there should be a mods folder if not tell me what you did and Io ll try to help you out. If so quit minecraft. If you ever want to install a mod you download it the file for that mod then click on finder go to library, then application support then minecraft. When you open up minecraft just open up the mods folder and drag the mod in. Close out the window, and then open up minecraft with the forge profile. Make a world and if you have mod youo re done. if you dono t tell me and Io ll help. If you ever want to install another mod just drag it in to the mods folder.
