Creating a 3D model in Blender is a simple process. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you create a basic cube:

1. **Open Blender:**
If you haven't already, download and install Blender from the official website (www.blender.org/), then open it.

2. **Clear the Scene (Optional):**
When you open Blender, it might have a default scene with a cube, camera, and light. You can clear this if you want a clean slate.

- **Select Everything:** Press `A` on your keyboard to select everything in the scene.
- **Delete:** Press `X` or `Delete` and confirm to delete all selected objects.

3. **Add a Cube:**
To create a cube, go to the 3D Viewport and follow one of these methods:

- **Menu Option:**
- Press `Shift` + `A` to open the Add menu.
- Choose "Mesh" from the menu.
- Select "Cube" from the submenu.

- **Shortcut:**
- You can also add a cube directly by pressing `Shift` + `A` and then choosing "Mesh" > "Cube."

4. **Manipulate the Cube (Optional):**
You can manipulate the cube's size, position, and rotation using the following controls:

- **Scaling:** Select the cube by right-clicking it, then press `S` to scale it. Move your mouse to adjust the size, and left-click to confirm.

- **Translation (Position):** Select the cube and press `G` to grab it. Move the mouse to move the cube around, then left-click to confirm.

- **Rotation:** Select the cube and press `R` to rotate it. Move your mouse to rotate the cube, then left-click to confirm.

5. **View and Render Your Cube:**
You can switch between different viewport views (like solid, wireframe, or rendered) using the viewport shading buttons in the top-right corner of the 3D Viewport. To render your scene, set up a camera, add lights, and render it using the render settings.

6. **Save Your Work:**
Don't forget to save your work by going to "File" > "Save" or pressing `Ctrl` + `S` (Windows/Linux) or `Command` + `S` (Mac). This will save your Blender project.

7. **Export Your Model (Optional):**
If you want to use your cube in other 3D applications or share it with others, you can export it in various file formats (e.g., .obj, .fbx). To do this, go to "File" > "Export" and choose the desired format.
