Hello! This is my first blog. And in this first blog i will telling you the best tips for running a good server! Ok the basic good server
needs:
Good plugins - When i see good plugins i mean Essentials, Wordedit, and so on. Good plugins will help make the experience better for the players with commands like '/home /msg /heal' and much more. (Remeber this is not needed, I know tons of players like vanilla but this just a opion) also custom plugins are always good.
Nice builds - Nice builds like spawn and pvp arenas also are good. I know you wouldn't like to play on a server were you spawn in a square box made out of woodplanks and a sign saying 'Welcome'
Staff - Staff are a essential thing you would need in a server. They help with controling the server while your off. They can help in building in building and orhter varouis. Now im not saying you should make everyone staff thats says they are good no im saying that you should pick some that have been playing for a while and is well known for his actions on the server. It also helps to find staff if you make a application using a book and quill or on your website.
Donations - You shouldn't make your server a 'Pay 2 Win' Server or your server will drop. You should make it so the player has some commands like /msg /warps and such the simple ones and also you could some commands if you have custom commands. By Pay 2 win i mean you donate and you get Worldedit, tp, creative and all that op stuff.
