In Minecraft there is a command called /worldspawn it dosn't really work. You spawn around that place or if you want players to spawn on a platform they might spawn off it. Im here to help I found a way thats quick and easy! The first step is to stand on the block you want them to spawn on. Next, you set it to the gamemode you want the players to be on and finally have the inventory you want them to have. Its that simple! This wont be there spwan point when they die put if you make a check point button that does /spawnpoint @p (x,y,z) then they spawn at those cowardanents when they die.

because that command works for that, they spawn at those exact cowardanents that you put in. Also you could have a check point button in the middle of the game or something that does this command: /spawnpoint @p (x,y,z).
