1) open %appdata%

2) open .minecraft

3) open bin

4) open minecraft.gar with winrar, or 7zip

5) open file (at the top) title

6) open text file and erase all the splashes and add your own (eg.MY NAME IS JOHN) p.s my name is not john

7) close the text and then click the save button that pops up and YOUR DONE!!
