How to Properly Disopse of Lava Spills

This tutorial assumes that you have access to mid-game survival supplies.

Lava. Its great fun, and it looks cool, so how could you go wrong when decorating you house with it? The anwser is, many ways, all of which will be hard to dispose of the aftermath. This tutorial will detail how you should go about cleaning up lava spills of any size, from a stray column to a mountainside of molten stone.

Part 1: Supplies:

Cleaning up lava really isn't a time consuming task, just one that you must perform carefully. as such, you should use the following designated supplies for the methods mentioned throughout the tutorial.
- 64 of non-flammable block(stone, dirt, ect.)
- 3 buckets of water
- 2 empty buckets
All of these will be used at some point, especially the blocks.

Part 2: Cleaning 1-3 Column Spills:

The most common accident is a single column misplaced, which can be easy to replace, but there are a few mistakes to watch out for. firstly, DO NOT USE WATER. This has a chance of obsidianising the lava, which even with a diamond pick can be frustrating to dispose of. what you should do, however, is cover the source block. then rapidly place blocks over the stream before it can spread. if this is not an option, simply placing and removing blocks atop the lava works as well.

Part 3: Cleaning 5-20 Column Spills:
