Hi there gals bois and all the rest, Im Sawyer and today we'll learn about how to recognize SKIN THIEVES.
Here are 3 things skin thieves does usually!
1. Skins look familiar, Like youve seen it before on a famous skinners profile or maybe your friends, But theres something off about it...
Like this skin! It has shading, But then,,, The hair is unshaded?
Skin thieves often do this; In some cases they just post the skin as it was, But some edit it and it ends up looking weird, Like that unshaded hair on a shaded skin, Or it might be something else like some clothing item is shaded very differently and poorly then the original skin.
2. Weird descriptions: Its either blank or
"HAIII GUIZZ CHECK OUT TEH NEW SKIN I MADE! i put alot of effort into it it tooks hours! PLZ PLZ PLZ DIAMOIND AND SUBB!!"
Something like that. They will claim to have made the skin themselves in a very suspicious way.. Like some cartoon character hiding something.
Legit users might say a skin took them a long while or leave a blank desc, But common sense will tell you if a person wrote a suspicious description or not.
3. The skin style is never similar to earlier skins the user uploaded. A legit user would have skins with similar style to each one, With the style changing sometimes as they progress and improve as skinners. Skin thieves, However, uploads skins that are very different from eachother: One skin will look like a typical skindex skin, But the skin they uploaded two days later looks like it was made by Oblivion herself. Like this:
Hopefully this helped!
