I love to go on servers that are new and just get ideas or give them to the people there and mabye even help out. The number one top thing I see is server have 15 staff and maybe one person actually plays. This is a common mistake because it does not take 15 people to govern a server(unless you have like 90000 people playing). On my server i have 2 mods, 2 admins, 1 head admin, a co owner and a owner. Its nessary to have a few because people are not on the server all of the time and you want your admins to be on as much as possible. But when I first started a server I dident know this information so when ever someone said "can i have op or can I be admin" I would feel bad and then say yes to them. When ever someone wanted something I would give it to them. I had the nickname of Mr. Niceguy bc thats all I did. Well one day it nipped me in the but. One of those "admins i made" who I didn't even know. They briefed my whole server, and they killed everyone and they did a lot of bad things by also hacking the server. I was devastated and I had to rebuild. When I made people admin I had strict rules like must be 13 or older, and must have donated to show that they actually cared about the server (if they had money issues I took that into account). Also I dident really make my friends admin unless I knew they could do it. But the only admins and mods i have or had where the ones who were not gonna go under my back to destroy me.
