Hey friends!
This week I actually have 2 tutorials for you (One is very short and linked in this video). The main one I did was go over how to setup a server network and travel between different minecraft servers.
I will be going over how to setup portals to travel between them next week.
(This type of setup is only secure and only works if they are all on the same server)
.) You must be running spigot
.) You must be running Java 7
.) Download bungeecord.jar http://ci.md-5.net/job/BungeeCord/
.) Put the jar file in its only folder
.) Create a startup script for bungeecord (java -Xss192k -Xmx1G -jar BungeeCord.jar)
.) Start it up and access the config file
.) Set the host IP to be 0.0.0.0:25565 (Listening on default port)
.) Set the default server to join
.) Update your server list
.) Each server will have a different port that is listed in here
.) Once that is set go to each server to configure
.) Set them to run offline, ip = 127.0.0.1 and set the same port that you set in the bungeecord config file
.) Start up Bungreecord and each one of your servers
.) Log into your server. Notice that it will force you to the default server
.) Then type in /server to connect to another server
.) This servername is the same as what you setup in BungeeCord
