This is for the contest... and if I could mod I would have made a mod for these ideas. And I'm not exactly sure if they're possible, I just decided to include what I thought would be helpful and what would make the game more interesting. I'm not going to say things like the Herobrine Mod and the Slenderman Mod, I'm going to include things that people want from this game. Things that Jeb might add. And if any of these things are already mods or something, I didn't know. I don't play on mods too often. In fact, the only one I've downloaded is TMI. The rest of the mods I know are from watching YouTube Let's Plays and ones that are popular enough for everyone to know.

mobs

Let's face it. We're all getting sick of the same monsters and the same animals. In 1.4, Jeb did add Bats, Witches, a new Boss, and different versions of the old monsters, but what about a completely new monster that spawns in the main world in the dark? A new animal... maybe some included in the Mo' Creatures mod? (remember these are things that I think should ACTUALLY be added in the game) On the animal side: how about horses? Easier to ride than a pig, maybe a little more rare, though. A lot of people suggest to add horses, and I think it would be awesome. It would be faster to get around but you would still need to find (did they allow saddles to be crafted yet? I can't remember...) a saddle in a dungeon. And how about a dangerous water mob? Sharks? Only in the oceans or big enough spaces like squid, though. It would add an extra challenge if you want to go to water areas in the game. And maybe there could be an achievement for killing a shark. Oh, and birds! Maybe different kinds so you can tame some of them with fish or something. Birds are everywhere in real life, why aren't there any in Minecraft? I can't see any big purpose, but hey, I wouldn't think about Creepers being scared of Ocelots... which might be the only reason they added Ocelots in so there would be a use for them. And I have an idea for a monster. Like a spirit/ghost type-thing that you can see, and if you *insert word for making a monster attack you that's on the tip of my tongue but I just can't think of it* it, it haunts you and hurts you until you kill it. And it's pretty hard to get away. Kind of like an Enderman or Slenderman. (and I know this would never get added into the game, but UNICORNS! NO GAME IS COMPLETE WITHOUT UNICORNS!)

Chests

It's a known fact that most Minecraft players are OCD (at least in Minecraft) and if something isn't symmetrical we will go full out rage. When we start a new world and get the first chest down, we don't worry about the few items we have being in separate chests. But then we mine, get food, start getting a surplus of dirt and cobblestone and voila! Chests are filled and the OCD kicks in. We make 10 chests and put ores in one, stuff like stone and dirt in another, food in another, armor in another, etc. Instead of spending all this time sorting out our chests, I have a Tekkit kind of idea. There can be a new block, sort of like a chest, but if you put your items in it, it will sort them automatically and create a chest with the similar items in it. Maybe already labeled. I think the recipe could be this:

I know that this is kind of expensive compared to just making 10 chests or something, but it can save you wood, and iron and redstone aren't very hard to find. And maybe you don't even need wood for this to make another chest. It's "Tekkity" like that. I just know I hate sorting out my items but will go crazy if I don't do it.

beds

I have a couple problems here. For one, I hate that beds are only... red... DANG IT! A rhyme! But anyways, I know almost everyone wants their bed to be a different color. So, I think that it should be possible to put a bed in a crafting table, put dye beside it, and get a different colored bed, based on the dye that was put in. I also think that they should remove not being able to go to sleep if monsters are nearby. A lot of the time, the monsters are just outside the house or you can't find them anyway, and all the player wants to do is go to sleep and not want to fight something that isn't even bothering him/her. If there's a monster in your house and you accidently click the bed and start going to sleep, you can always get out. There's a button that says "Leave Bed." The "You may not rest now. There are monsters nearby." is a complete inconvenience and most players get annoyed with it.

Servers

My main problem with servers that Jeb might be able to fix (I am not going to talk about creativity) is how easily it is to hack. And how easily it is to make false claims because someone was lagging or there was a glitch. I think there should be something to make all mods a player has when they go on a server not be able to work, if the owner wants this. There are WAY too many people using things like Nodus and X-Ray, and no one knows about it unless they make it extremely obvious or someone sees them. And even then, the Owners, Admins, and Mods don't have any proof and can't ban/kick the hacker. Unless a server NEEDS to use a mod, then they should make a way for no mods to work on servers. I'm not good with hi-tech things like that, but come on. It's the twenty-first century. We have motion-sensor video games. I'm pretty sure there's a way to make a plug-in that disables mod use on a server.

Food

I think more food ingredients should be made. I would really want ice cream to be in the game. Ice cream is made out of mainly milk, sugar, ice, and cocoa (if you want chocolate ice cream). All of these things are in Minecraft. There are plenty of other food items that can be made in this game. If you have any suggestions, leave them bellow and I'll give you additional credit, or just credit right after the food suggestion.

C.D.'s

This idea I'm not exactly sure if it's possible, but I think it would be cool if you can have a mod which can make C.D's have music from your computer/iTunes, iPod/iPhone/iPad/Android and things like that. If that's not possible, I think mod makers can make a mod so there's new C.D's that have songs from a specific artist on it, and fans of the modder can give artist suggestions. Like for me, I would like the C.D's to have One Direction songs (Oh, shut up. Give me one GOOD reason to hate them. Emphasis on good). A modder could have C.D's with One Direction songs on it, then upload that as one mod, and do the same with other bands and solo singers. People could have parties in Minecraft! Or, you could play parodies and sing them with your friends or something if you don't want to use Skype or unplug headphones. If you're playing on Survival, these C.D's would be found instead of the normal ones you would find in dungeons. Or you can spawn them in, because seriously, I don't think having C.D's counts as cheating.

Quests

Don't worry. I'm not talking about a story line. I'm talking about optional quests, kind of like the achievements, but you get items for completing them. I think villagers should give out quests that you can choose to complete or not to complete. Not hard ones, though. Maybe something like "Kill skeletons until you have 10 bones for something I need" and based on the difficulty, you get food, enchantments, maybe even diamonds in return. But like I said, completely optional for people who like Minecraft being just "Survive."

redstone

My first problem with redstone is that when you place a block over it, it goes up a space and you can still see it. I know that if I had any chance of making a redstone contraption, it's ruined when you're able to see the redstone. I want this to be removed and a block can go over it without the stupid space. I see no reason why it's there and if the space is removed, you can still make the redstone go up a block. It's supposed to be like dust, not as thick as a novel. I also think redstone should be easier to use. If you ever take a look behind a redstone contraption, you can see how much time was put through just to make it work. I don't have any ideas on how to fix it, and maybe this is just a terrible redstone engineer talking, but I think something should be done to make it easier to work with.
