I luv minecraft! do u love it? well then i am telling you i can help u become a pro in at least a year (thats only how long it took me i have been playing it since they didnt have hunger barss or creative mode :P) or shorter! so first step: get an account. you will need an account to play minecraft on full version. second step: make a world. it does not matter what type of gamemode it is so play away! third step: build a house (if on survival) : building a house will prove your rank, for example: if u build a house that has walls that are as tall as a play and scraping your head off the roof (lol :P) then u r rank newbie. fourth step: go to any multiplayer server (if the server has grey chat, speak caps when trying to talk to someone. if white chat just speak normally) : playing a multiplayer server will update your rank depending on the server type. if it is a creative or minigame server, then try winning in rank 5 or higher in a minigame. if the server is creative, then build something attractive (statue, large house, etc.) fifth step: ask somebody: ask somebody what they think of what u built, what place you have won, how long it was that u survived, etc. after that if they say "wow thats pretty good" then that means u are close to becoming a pro. well, thats the end and its all i can think of what to say, i hope this helps newbies. :P
