if mind craft crashes because of a mod move your Minecraft.jar folder into trash and your minecraft.jar.zip or what ever you use to get minecraft.jar. ant then go to mind craft and log in. Then download all the mods that you had.
You will loose nothing. I did not know this at first so I had to start over :( the bad thing is you haft to download all your mods once more.
