This blog aims to give a value to all items in Minecraft: Java Edition. The values of all the items can be used to make a fair trade in Survival Multiplayer. I'm only mentioning items obtainable in Survival because trading would be pointless in a Creative server. If I missed something important, please tell me!

The only way to assign a completely fair value to all of these items and their equivalents would be to count every one of all of these items in the world, and give them an exchange rate based on that. Unfortunately, I didn't do that, and I didn't develop a plugin, mod, or command to do that, so assigning an exchange rate for each of these resources is up to you.

I know this is old, but I found this searching for some information. I do not find 1 diamond Ore = 1 Diamond. The 1 thing wrong with this equation within everything mentioned here is the work put into it. Labor is not free. Building a farm to create a automatic resource also is not free. Everything requires time and materials. To mine requires repairs to tools and takes time to do. That goes the same for everything. Im assuming this was written to be funny? lol...
This is more of a ingredients list than a value chart.
Supply and demand is as important as what it takes to make a item. Something easy to get will obviously be cheaper than something that takes a lot of time and effort. Prices will be different on a new world than after it has established itself and farms/shops have already been built. Then you have competitors that can effect pricing.
