Increase in number of copied skins!

Well this isn't a rant, this is more of a complaint. Over the year, the majority of skins uploaded on planet minecraft have either been stolen or changed slightly. This is really annoying for those of us who spend time drawing our skins and would appreciate it if they were noticed. Skins like steve skins or mob skins are becoming over whelming in numbers and are beginning to take the front page. For instance when I spent a long time on my latest skin, for a skin battle, I assumed people would notice that it was a skin battle. About an hour later I noticed only a few people had viewed the skin as after I had uploaded, almost 3 pages of stolen skins or copied took its place and began taking the place of other good skins. Although I have no evidence to back my point, I feel other skin editors will agree with me and that this has to stop, please, for this to be noticed a diamond and a subscribe will help. If you agree with me and many others, create your own blog sharing your thoughts.

Again! I spend ages on a skin, 2 minutes later, its been over whelmed by crap skins!

I hate that. People who don't bother to do didley squat effort shouldn't be allowed to join this site. Hard work and effort on a project is always rewarded, but unoriginality and plagiarism is always chosen by people a ton. People take a "shortcut". Nobody wants to take effort to make something.

I really wish people would notice "Ask for permission" I mean really. It is not much to ask, I just want people to ask to post my skins on my behalf, just re-posting it to advertise, or editing it to make it look cool. A perfect example is my "Shaolin Dog" skin, I asked the person who made the Shaolin Monk if I could edit the skin into a dog, and post it on his, and my behalf, and he agreed. This is what I want to happen, not taking the skin and saying "I MADE THIS FROM SCRATCH JUST SHUT UP AND LEAVE ME ALONE!!!! >:("

I watched over it to see how long it takes before it gets kicked off the front page of recently updated. Only 2 page refreshes, so it was like 18 seconds. One skin however was really good and better than mine, but yeah, it didn't have enough time to get noticed.

I've seen people stealing halucid's skins. And it's very annoying going to the " most popular " section of skins and finding out that 6 out of 10 of the skins are extremely bad, and not very creative, but yet they still make it on the most popular list..

I am agreed to, but the reason for your skin did not come on the front page is becouse its to bad shading. I think it is 3 or 4 difrent kind of green, i mean.. Dark green and light green. More details on the hole body and face and some other colors, not paint colors will do it super popular! Just a pro tip.

And stop say the front page is often full of mobs skin etc. I dont like it self but, you have make some mobs skin self so you dont have anythin' to say.

You are aware its a texture, not shading. People always think they're awesome at pixel drawing because they can go from dark to light...

Yeah, you have a really good point there. I dont like just good shading but good pixel drawings and a bit good shading. I know many people how is verry popular becouse of their Gimp Shading. I agree you. But, i understand why it not was comming on the front page. Its hard to get on the front page and need a better skin than that. No offense.
