Hello today I want to explain to you how to install mods and more.

it's inspired by another user, I'm doing it because he didn't explain it very clearly (I've found it's hard to understand, especially when you start with Miecraft). The name of this user is floofy_d_blue.

The Modloader

The normal Minecraft that you probably have installed cannot load most Minecraft mods.
That's why you need a modloader.
Good examples are the fabric loader and forge.
It's best to install it right away. Also both because the mods you want to use may not all be for fabric or forge.

Download it from here ↓↓↓↓↓↓↓

fabric

forge

Since you actually need java for both, it is good to install it as well.

java download

If you have downloaded everything, first open the java installer. Then follow the instructions given in the window. If you have installed Java, open both modloader files and click on install. Then the modloaders are installed. now open the Minecraft Louncher and open the versions that are called forge or fabric. this will take a little while. Now open the other modloader version.

That was the modloader chapter

The Mods

first of all, you need to know where you can safely download Minecraft mods. A few examples

curseforge

modrinth

There are thousands of mods you can download from these websites. But to help you learn to install mods I will install one with you.

Download this mod from modrinth ↓↓↓↓↓

sodium from modrinth

now download the latest version of the mod.
If you have not downloaded the latest version from the modloader chapter fabric or forge, you should do so.

If you have downloaded the file go to the order where you downloaded the file from me downloads then copy the file.
Now press win+R and write %appdata% in the window.
now a folder opens. There are many other folders in the folder.
But we are only interested in one, namely the .minecraft folder, open it and look for the mods folder and copy the file into it.
If there are other files in the mods folder, delete them because they are probably not compatible with the version.
Since the mod is for fabric, start fabric in Minecraft Louncher and then you are actually done.
Only one thing I have to say if you want to use two mods in but one is forge and the other is fabric then it won't work.

Now you are ready.

Thank you for reading through the turtoriel:-)
