Hello people of PMC!
I was thinking about my server which is already currently struggling in these times of everyone owning their own. "Hey you want to play on my server?" "Sorry I can't you should come play on mine" The horrible effect of easy server creation. Oh well though. But now I think about 1.7 and I'm actually scared. I don't even comprehend most of it!

• World generation
  • Double the amount of biomes, with new trees/flowers/blocks.
    
  • New world options.

  • Two new types of wood.
    
  • Stained blocks and panes of glass.
    
  • Packed ice, red sand, podzol.
    
  • Lots of new flowers, including tall versions of current plants.

  • Can now catch junk/treasure while fishing.

Now that you see the list let's discuss about what I think is bad.
First of all for all server owners 1.7 is terrible for us. Have to completely redo the map if you want to generate the new biomes and blocks that are coming. Also second of all for servers name changing is bad... How will bans be handled?! Is each player gonna have an id that gets banned. Or is the name change just like a nickname and doesn't really matter? I wonder how that's going to work.
Then for players, doesn't all this new stuff at once intimidate you?! I feel as though I'm going to have to learn how to play all over again.

In the end though I'm really excited to see what comes. Keep the updates coming mojang! I love them and we all appreciate that you are still developing your game to be better!
