Well this is my first blog so leave me a lot of feedback.  Please do not use any inopropriate shtuff in the comments.

Well most of us know that Notch (Markus Persson) sold Mojang.  A lot of people are angry or sad about him doing so.  But most of us are wondering why he did it in the first place.

Well he said in his farewell blog post that he didn't want to be part of something that had such a world-wide affect.  Also if he rejected Microsoft, Microsoft is so powerful and influental that they could've put Mojang into the dust if they didn't agree to the deal.

But the biggest question is why did Microsoft buy it?  Well for one the sales have gone down, and everybody has it so can that be the reason?  Well I think it's just to have it in their name, it's the third best selling game of all time, and it has a close part in all of our hearts.

They also may make a system of being able to buy capes and what not.  This could be very bad for the value of Minecon capes too.  Minecon itself will be ruined due to the fact that they're going to sell a lot more tickets, in which doesn't make as good of an expiriance.
