TRAP TUTORIALS!
Fundamental Traps
These traps are best used on experienced players and will be very unlikely to work on more experienced players.
Sand Drop - The Element of Trust
This trap is easy to do, all you need is sand or gravel. Ask on the chat if somebody can help digging for their base because you left your (whatever, somethingvaluable) in your base underground. Say you have a reward of diamond or emerald or somethingvaluable and when they dig deep enough, drop down the sand/gravel and watch them perish!
(Best if the victim has only a weak pickaxe or nothing)
I Wanna Be That Griefer - A Lesson to Noob Griefers and Greedy Players
Greifers, we hate them. A way to stop them, this trap. This trap is kinda expensive. Sometimes it will not work against a faction or an experienced griefer or player. If the player has no pickaxe, they are in trouble.
First, make a house of obsidian (or if possible, bedrock) and make a one way iron door at the entrance of the house, not the exit. Now, put a block of TNT in the house with a lever on it. Also, add a chest of diamonds to lure them in!
This may not work, so don't go a hatin' me when it don't work!
Revenge of The Trees - A Territorial Tree Marker
This trap is unexpected and may even surprise the most experienced players!
All you need is a lever, a pressure plate and as much TNT as you want.
If you have a tree farm and you hate people stealing your wood, this trap is for you and ispotentially life threatening to you if you forget about not breaking the bottom log. First, dig under a tree (about two blocks down ) and put a lever under the wood block above you. Now place a pressure plate at the very bottom of the hole and put as much TNT around it so when the player cuts down the whole tree the lever will fall as an item, hit the pressure plate and create an explosion!
SOMEBODY LEFT THEIR PRESSURE PLATE - THE LANDMINE
Ok, this trap is costly in the element of TNT, but works great at the door of a house or around in a jungle.
This won't really work around barren deserts.
All you need to do is place a pressure plate and under it dig two blocks down. You don't need to do two, you can do as much as you want. Then add as much TNT as you want in the hole.
TIP!
1Don't put lava at the bottom of the hole if you want destruction and you are using a singular piece of TNT. You can use this for jumping, so when the TNT explodes the explosion will throw you, but not damage the ground..
