It was a long cold winters night, in their sweet little cottage, where Steve, Alex, and their little child Notch were snugly sleeping. For the night was Christmas Eve, therefore Notch was dreaming heavily of the gifts he would receive!

Lately, Steve wasn't sleeping, for he was nervous! He forgot to get little Notch a present!

"Oh no" thought Steve. If forgot Notches present!

So Steve got up, trying not to wake Alex, and went outside. He went outside because he had an idea. But not just any idea, a great, mystical, magical idea, that would no doubt take all night!

The soft winter snow tickling his feet, the scratchy coal buttons scraping silently at his hands, the carrot noiselessly thumping in his inventory. Steve had the idea for a snowman, so he rolled up some sticky bleach white snow into three balls, then he stacked them.

Then after smoothing its rough edges and loving it as much as possible. He grabbed the carrot out of his inventory. The carrot was bright orange, and almost glowing with Christmas spirit! Steve stuck the carrot on the head of the snowman, and put to coals slightly asymmetrical from the nose. Then made the best mouth possible, with the same result as the eyes.



Steve decide that this was the best he could possible make it so he went up to his room and fell asleep.

The next morning, Notch woke Steve and Alex with a start. "Come look what St. Nick left me!" joyfully screamed Notch.

Steve with every possible bit of anxiety, walked outside to see his snowman. But to his surprise, it had a brilliant pumpkin on its head and it was moving!?!

Steve never told Notch this story, but he told notch how to make one, so Notch had a present that would last a lifetime!
