intro

hi everyone! i hope everyone is enjoying winter break so far and hanukkah if you celebrate! i myself am doing good so far and i'm excited for the new year. anyways lets get into this week's mod which is great for the holiday season.

what is decocraft?

decocraft is a decoration mod that adds in a wide variety of different items you can craft via a decobench. you can craft everything with only a few materials which makes decorating easy for both early and late game players. all you need is clay, sand, dirt, and some dye. which are all things you can get pretty easily in excess.

likes

the variety of decorating items

there are plenty of decorating mods that add tables and chairs and such so it's nice that this mod adds in things that you're less likely to have in another mod. the main reason i choose it this week is because of it's sheer amount of christmas items although i do wish it had more other holiday items besides that. it's still a nice variety.

the ease of making items

as i stated earlier, it's very simple to make all the items. while certain things do require more of the crafting clay because they are bigger items it's still just more of the same. so this mod is great for those of us who like to decorate early game!

dislikes

placing items can be glitchy

this probably isn't a surprise to anyone who's played with mods similar to this. placing items like this can often be very glitchy and finicky. decorating small spaces is also a nightmare since pretty much nothing wants to fit next to each other. so if you want to really get your decorating on be prepared for a few fits of anger at something not wanting to place where you want it to.

final thoughts

decocraft is a great mod that allows for you to make a lot of different decorating items that other mods don't and i'd highly recommend it especially in tandem with other decorating mods that add the simpler items this mod doesn't add. so check out this mod and have fun decorating for the holidays!
