Dark. You don't know where you are, and you feel... strange.

You look around you, to find nothing. Again, it's dark, but apparently your eyesight isn't too good.
Deciding that you're not getting anywhere by sitting around and feeling your head while thinking Where am I? you get up and feel around.

You bump into something 3 seconds into walking around with your arms out, somehow. Luckily, you don't think anybody's watching you, so nobody was able to see how dumb you looked right then. You also got a minor bruise, which won't have any affect later on into the story.

After getting up again, you be more careful with stumbling around and being confused. Not much later, you end up feeling around something that you're guessing is a button, so you press it and hope it wasn't a trap. Which it wasn't.

Suddenly, light floods around you. Not really, but in comparison to it being pitch black to a broken ceiling lamp emitting a faint glow, it's kind of bright. Sadly, it's not enough to show what else is hanging around on the walls, so you can only inspect things on the ground and near the light itself.

Instantly, you notice a table, probably the thing that you rammed into earlier. Seriously, how did you fall from bumping into a table? Now the fact that you're probably not being watched is suddenly 10 times more significant. Anyways, on the table you see some photos of drawn out people, some of which have big fat red X's on them. You can easily put together what that means. And that is to say that either A: They're dead. Or B: The owner of these pictures isn't happy with these drawings. But one of them also has "NO MORE" scribbled onto it from the bottom, also in red. You're starting tho think that guess A was the more correct one, and whoever owns these pictures probably isn't too cool of a dude. That, or answer B would imply they gave up on drawing after this one.

Another thing on the table: a small bag. Since bags obviously can't lead to your death (just as pressing a random button in a dark room wouldn't) you open it. Inside you find a small oddly-shaped emerald. And if you've ever read a mystery novel- which you can't remember doing- this will probably fit into something. Hopefully there's no "reconfigure this redstone to unlock one of five doors" stuff going on. And, since you can't find anywhere to put this thing somewhere where actually visible, it'd appear that you have to go back to sticking to the wall and feeling for something.

Guess what? There was something that you conveniently felt: a hole shaped similarly (you think) to the emerald you have with you. Isn't that a nice bit of luck. So, after an hour of genius thinking and brainstorming, you figure out that you should stick the thing into the hole. When that happens, you hear faint pistons, some clicking, a hiss, and then a door opening. You're going to ignore the hiss for now.

Now, the fun part: finding out where the door is. Shouldn't be hard, counting the fact that "oh hey look the contraption turned on another faint light right above the door for convenience." Upon going through the door, you're met with a long, cramped, glass tunnel. You're not claustrophobic so this isn't much a problem. While sorta paying attention to what's outside of the glass, you can't see much. But when you look up, you can see something that resembles what you'd see if you were at the bottom of an ocean and looked up. Subtle. Now knowing the fact that you're at the bottom of the ocean, you feel a bit more safe, and equally frightened because at any moment something could break and you'd probably drown. You continue going down the hallway.
At the end of it, you find a door, which you can easily open.

You step through the door, into a room that's more lit than what could be called "dim" but not "easy to see in."

End of part 1.

I may end up continuing this story, just depends. I got bored and wanted to type/write something, and so I wrote/typed this. I may end up coming back and improving some things, but probably not because I don't usually do that. I hope you enjoyed my story, and hopefully it's not too bad.

No, the bruise won't have any meaning further down the road if I continue this story.
