Asked by a PMC User on my submission called "EndSpeak" Adding a new language into minecraft based around the End realm. I give a brief overview of how to create your own Languag Pack enhance your gameplay, whether its for an adventure map, texture pack, or something else this TuT is for you!
Here is my tutorial:
1. Navigate to your bin folder through %appdata%/Roaming/.minecraft
2. Open minecraft.jar with Winrar or another Archiving program
3. Make sure you delete your META-INF folder
4. Open your "lang" folder inside the jar
5. You will see many language files, find the one that says "en_US" or another english pack for best results
6. Extract or drag the file onto your desktop or desired forlder
7. Open the file with Wordpad or Notepad++
8. Edit anything on any line after the "=" symbol
9. Save it
10. Rename it to whatever like "en_XX" or even "xx_XX" just remember what you call it
11. Back in you minecraft.jar in your "lang" folder search for a document called "languages"
12. Extract the "languages" text document to your desktop or desired location, don't loose it
13. Open it, it should open with notepad or wordpad it doesn't matter
14. Add in your language on your desired line where you want it to appear
15. If you named your file "en_QW" then in the file write on a line "en_QW (Example)"
16. Place the file and document back into your minecraft.jar and run minecraft
17. You should now see your language in the options when run minecraft!
