LEGO Ninjago Five Things That Never Happened To Garmadon (part 2) Chen and Garmadon

Please Note: The following fanfic is set in an alternate universe and was entirely made for fun. Additionally, this fanfic utilizes the fanfiction writing form/structure of “Five Things...”. Meaning though this story is written in five parts, they do not need to be read in order as they are each their own contained story.

“Oh, peace is so boring, but conflict and turmoil is so unpredictable and exciting,” Chen said.
“But, Master Chen, even the Anacondrai are making concessions. There could be a truce, there could be…” Garmadon protested.
“Never trust a snake, Lord Garmadon. Remember that.” Chen interrupted.

When Garmadon bowed his head, Chen continued:
“Oh, don't look so sad. I've intercepted something that will make you feel better. A love letter. Apparently, your pathetic little brother feels the same about that girl you admire.”
“Aah, Misako.” Garmadon said.

Chen slides the letter to Garmadon. While Garmadon read the letter, Chen spoke:
“His words are so heartfelt. They could sway how she feels about one of you.”
“I didn't write this, I shouldn't be reading it,” Garmadon said sliding the letter back to Chen.
“Didn't you? It could be your name on it. Certainly, you feel the same.” Chen said grabbing a nearby quill and ink pot.

When Garmadon went to slide the letter back towards him Chen put his hand on the letter. Garmadon jumped slightly, then looked at Chen confused.
“You'd think I'd give you this without expecting something in return. I suppose that is why you're the student and I'm the teacher.” Chen said.
“What do you want?” Garmadon asked, disappointed it wasn't going to be as simple as singing the letter.
“Why, it's simple you help us prevent a truce between man and snake Lord Garmadon,” Chen said smiling.
“What if I refuse?” Garmadon asked taking a small step back from Chen.
“If you refuse or try and betray us. Well, let's just say your brother being with Misako will be the least of your worries.”
“Very well, I’ll do it but I hope you realize the grave consequences this may cause.”
“I'm well aware but I'm sure you're aware Lord Garmadon of how much happier you'll be with her.”

Garmadon signed his name on the letter and gave it to Misako. As expected, the letter swayed Misako to choose Garmadon instead of Wu. There was only one thing left to do, he had to prevent the truce, without getting himself killed in the process. Then an idea came to mind.
“Never trust a snake? So does that mean that snakes can't trust other snakes?” Garmadon thought to himself.

He remembered that the Serpentine tribes were normally at war, perhaps if he prevented the tribes from reuniting, they would be so focused on fighting one another that a truce between man and snake would never happen. Garmadon went to each tribe of serpentine and with a few lies told each tribe turned against each other. After all, who would question one of the brothers who had suggested the truce?
“I was just informed that the Fangpyre plan to bite whatever they can to take over Ninjago while we signed the treaty,” Garmadon told the Constrictai.
“The Constrictai are planning to collapse all the underground tombs of the other serpentine tribes. After all, they would be the only ones strong enough to break themselves out.” Garmadon informed the Hypnobrai.
“It's true the Hypnobrai are preparing to control man using their venom. If they do, they will have a strong enough army to all the Venomari.” Garmadon warned the Venomari.
“I'm afraid the Venomari plan to spit venom in our eyes and attack when we are experiencing hallucinations. We would have to strike first.” Garmadon suggested to the Anacondrai.
“We just caught Anacondrai using their invisibility trying to steal our relics and worry they may soon attempt to steal yours,” Garmadon said to the Fangpyres gesturing towards the Fangpyre staff.

Before long the tribes all declared war on each other. Relieved but not happy with himself he began walking back to the Monastery.
“Well, I'm quite impressed Lord Garmadon. I should have known you wouldn't disappoint.”

Garmadon stopped and turned to notice Chen was walking up on him from behind.
“I told you peace is boring. Look at how quickly they turned on each other. I don't believe that truce would have lasted long anyway. Not to mention, you turning the Serpentine tribes against each other gave me a wonderful idea.” Chen said.
“What?” Garmadon asked hesitantly.
“Why don't you come see? It's quite the show if I do say so myself.” Chen said, motioning for Garmadon to follow him.

A war, Garmadon had returned home to a war but instead of man vs. serpentine, it was man vs. man. More specifically elemental master vs. elemental master, with civilians being caught in the crossfire. Then a thought raced through his mind.
“Where's Misako?” Garmadon shouted at Chen, with panic in his voice.
“Relax Lord Garmadon. Clouse has taken her and the Master of Amber to my island far away from all of this.” Chen said, smirking at the battle happening in the distance.
“Why? Why would you do this? Wasn't it enough to have a war between the Serpentine tribes?” Garmadon asked, staring at Chen.
“It was, but the Elemental Masters would have interfered and stopped it eventually. This way, the war continues. Indefinitely!” Chen said, before laughing maniacally.
“What did you say to them?” Garmadon said, anger slowly rising in his voice.

Chen's laughter stopped, and then he turned to face Garmadon with a smirk.
“I simply hinted that they were all the strongest Elemental Masters and that they didn't need anyone else,” Chen said.
“What about Wu? Surely, he wouldn't fall for that.” Garmadon said, as his eyes began to glow red.
“Why yes, it's true your brother and a few others didn't fall for that. So, we resorted to other methods. We convinced all the rest of the Elemental Masters that Wu was going to use the power of the First Spinjitzu Master to defeat them.”
“Where's my brother Chen!”
“That's Master Chen to you! Plus, why does it matter where your brother is? Let's just say they made sure he wasn't a threat anymore, and without his dear brother to help him, he fell rather quickly.”

Fun fact: This story started being typed out in a doc on June 30th, 2022 and was supposed to be released last year but multiple issues with the story (coming up with 5 parts, editing, choosing pictures, etc) caused the story to be shelved.
