What kind of Mac are you using?

I have an OS X 10.4.11 and the only mod that works is TMI. Not even modloader will work.

Same on any mac, though its harder on macbooks, like mine. Um... just do all the replace classes stuff and delete ur META-INF and you should be fine. But make sure you put modloader first before other mods.

I did just that. And i either got just a black screen or a non-working mod. I really have no clue what's wrong or what i'm doing wrong.

I know! so now that ur miniecraft is messed up, delete ur bin folder and restart minecraft, it should retrieve the folder. Now to the hard part. u need to find a tortorial that is just for YOUR EXACT TYPE OF COMPUTER.because the whole thing depends on wether u name the zip file one thing or another. some haf to name is back-up. others have to name it .jar.zip. So do that

Use winRAR.

open the minecraft.jar.

Drag the files from the mods into the .jar and delete META-INF.

Install modloader first.

That's the thing modloader won't work or anything. I drag it to the files to the minecraft.jar file and when i put the mods in there it asks to replace the files and then nothing works.
