Everyone wants to know how the successful servers work such as realmcraft but just how is it so popular.

I own my own minecraft server which is 24/7 and being up all day is always important because I can not stress enough how bad those home hosted servers are. Not only do you ruin the fuck out of your computer, it's unreliable and actually could prove more expensive than professional hosting.

Choosing the host

Are some offers really too good to be true? There are hosts out there who offer 1G for every $10 but this is quite expensive if you're looking for a 5GB large public server.

I am hosted by ServerMiner and no, I am not sponsored by them. They are reliable and my server is fully functional and it is managing with 19 plugins at 2GB.

My server is called ArchitectWorld: You can check it out for serverminer's hosting and their quality:

IP Address: mc.architectworld.net:25589

Website Address: www.architectworld.net

What's next?

You need to make your spawn amazing, just imagine you're a new player wandering around your server. What could you make interesting, maybe make a parkour course for them to go on at the start. Just something interesting.

Advertising

You need a great clump of players at one time, having loads of players spread throughout the day is not really effective. If their is only a couple of players on at one time, the new players could get bored and leave forever, so get your advertising fast at the first time.

I don't recommend spamming on other servers because you'll get a bad name for your server and you'll piss a lot of people off.

Advertise on Youtube, look at the 1 million + views on Minecraft series, spamming on here is better because then at least some people will see it and go onto your server.

Also, make a good banner that will catch everyone's attention, and then upload this to all of the minecraft server lists!

Well, that is all from me at the moment, I am going to do some art. Hope you enjoyed my blog and I will be posting a new one soon. If you want to check out my server, it's below. And my email is: architectworld@europe.com
if you need my help or anything.

Thanks, Isaac.
