I hate McMMO. I'm sure like a year ago that I liked it or was okay with it, but I really hate it. Not only is it unfair and ruins the game, especially for me as you will later read (assuming this isn't tl;dr for you), but it's so overused in almost all servers, which for the majority are Faction servers. Here's a list of what I hate about McMMO in detail.
- MISLEADING SERVERS: When I try to find a new server and it doesn't have McMMO posted anywhere on it, I have some hope. Hoewever, that hope is thrown out the window when I right-click the ground immediately on login and see that message, "**YOU READY YOUR FISTS**". You would think that with such a game changing plugin that it would be included on a listing. So when I do learn it has McMMO, I leave with "oh mcmmo. well bye". Maybe some day server owners won't be so ignorant.
- OVERUSE: Everytime you go on the PMC server listings, all you see is Faction servers with McMMO. Why does everyone want to use this plugin? Why does it appeal to so many server owners? It's unfair and easy to abuse. I think that server owners just don't understand how or why many people hate it, and it seems like the people who don't hate it, don't know what it is.
- EASY TO ABUSE: If you find a monster spawner, you can grind that for days. Becoming OP has never been easier. That should be the plugin's slogan, "Becoming overpowered has never been easier!". On one server I join from time to time, you can grind the parkour and just hold "W" to get acrobatics up because you get teleported after so many blocks down. It also ruins an economy for a server with farming skill (assuming you can sell crops on a server).
- UNFAIR: A new player has no chance against players who have been played for weeks or months. Good luck trying to level up from 1 while others are on 734. Resets are important if you have McMMO on a server.
- IMPOSSIBLE TO UTILIZE WITH OCD: I have OCD and often times will right-click randomly out of the urge. I have to type "/mcability" to disable the spam in the chat. I see a lot of cooldown warnings, otherwise. OCD has never been beneficial or neutral to gamers. See article about gaming with OCD; fair warning: it is on IGN. So while players without OCD or similar issue are strategically using their abilities to take down enemies and gather easier, people with it are having a hard time and at a huge disadvantage. All this assuming you have OCD or a similar issue that effects your gaming in this way.

Have something to say?
I am not affected in anyway whatsoever by the cooldown messages and I have no disadvantages.
