After healing my heath, I decided to mine for some more coal or iron for a bit. I dig a little dirt stairway down until I reach stone, then I just mine the stone into more stairs until I hit bedrock. I go up to the top of the stairs to get a new stone pickaxe with the crafting table in my house and return to mining. I go about 1/4 the way down the stairs at stone and start mining straight to the side finding coal. I then continue to mine forward only finding more coal. I return to the surface to make more torches and make a new stone pickaxe while the other one was about to break. It was nighttime when I resurfaced and a skeleton was waiting for me, I ignore it and run to my house and close the door and go to bed...
