Hello everyone! TeamCityCraft here and today I'm going to be showing you how to make book color codes! Some people may of noticed how in default versions of minecraft, you can't use the & signs, and thats because multiplayer plugins transform the & signs into § signs. The § sign is the real sign of color. In books (even on a multiplayer server) you can't use the & sign. Thats because you have to use the § sign. So heres a example:
§6§lThis is a random example.
§9§lDone by TeamCityCraft.
So the color codes are:
§0 - Black
§1 - Dark Blue
§2 - Dark Green
§3 - Cyan
§4 - Dark Red
§5 - Dark Purple
§6 - Gold/Yellow
§7 - Gray
§8 - Dark Gray
§9 - Sort of Light Blue
§a - Light Green
§b - Light Blue
§d - Pink
§e - Light Yellow
§f - White
§r - Reset/White
§c - Light Red
§l - Bold
§o - Italic
§n - Underline
§m - Overline
§k - Spinning Letters (DERP MODE)
So those are pretty much all of the colors. If you are using a mac you can do CMD + C to copy the § symbol. And CMD + V to paste the § symbol, or on mac you can just do ALT + 6. On Windows, you can use ALT + 6, but can do CTRL + C to copy the § symbol. And CTRL + V to paste the § symbol. Thats it for this tutorial! Hope you enjoyed!
UPDATE 4/3/14, 9:56 PM :: You may have done one just like this, I promise that I have done this a long time ago on one of my retired accounts, so you most likely have done it on your account but its not copyrighted by me or any of you. This is just to teach people how to do this for adventure maps.

UPDATE INFO :: Someone commented and said I stole what their blog was about. I didn't, anyone can really do it. Its just out there to teach, not to gain XP. Levels don't matter. That means anyone can do it. As long as they don't copy it word for word, its not copying.
