So this is a topic I have been wanting to talk about for a while now, but I have never really gotten to it. So here we are now. I present.. dating. Dating, in my opinion, should never occur over a video game. Seriously, there are sites out there and they happen choose a game of all places.
I think that Minecraft isn't as badly affected by this as much as other games, but I still think that it is occurring on servers way too much and that it really needs to be banned!
Here is a real conversation that I have seen on a raiding server.
Person 1: Hey
Person 2: *ignores him*
Person 1: Hey
Person 2: *ignores again*
Person 1: HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
Person 2: WHAT?
Person 1: I giv u diamond if u be wiv meh
Person 2: How old are you?
Person 1: 7
Person 2: Go away, please.
Person 1: HELP MOD! THEY ARE BULLYING MEEEEEEEEEEEEE
So, where do we begin? People, like this dude, tend to never leave people alone. Also, it is very apparent that they aren't ready for dating, let alone in Minecraft. I won't give the guys name out, but still, never do this guys!
Also, I think that most of them are silly. The longest I have seen one of these "relationships" last is one week. Dating over a video game just isn't healthy in my opinion.
So to sum up, I really don't think Minecraft should be used as a dating network. It is a fun video game and it should stay that way.
