Obviously from the name this is about the 1.3.1 update which awesome but im only including my favourite parts and the ones im interested in.There is a new book and quill (I call it a journal and I love it) which allows you to write in it abut once you give it a title you cant edit it.There is a new trip wire hook and you can put down string so you put it on the trip wire,you walk over it and triggers.There are emeralds but only can be used to trade with villagers (right click on villagers to trade) you can also make emerald blocks.Emeralds can be mined but are rarer than diamonds and can only be mined in extreme hills and are not in groups but the main way to get them is trading with villagers.
Also you can find jungle and desert temples.

good ol' 1.3...
they were the good days, before all the fancy witches and bats and other stuff ruined the game (sort-of)...

It was also back before I started getting recoginised in the community. I don't mind all the new stuff but I do miss the old days.
