Its a 24/7 'server' where there is no greifing, no stealing, no
server lag, no whitelist, you can do what you like as long as it isnt
harmful to others, and everybody is friendly!


The thing is, your playing with them indirectly.


A 'Chainworld' is basically a minecraft world where someone downloads
a world, plays on it for about an hour, then uploads it and someone
else repeats the process. Think of it as a server you can build towns
and cities and bunkers in, with other people. There is no chances of
greifing because the mods approve or remove a world if there are more
wrongs then rights.


It was first invented by Jason Rohrer. He had a memory stick with a
minecraft world on it that he passed on to somebody with the hopes that
they would play on the world for a while and pass it on to somebody
else. That chain world died, now with good hopes we will start it
anew... This time, no memory stick, all world interactions online.

This isnt just for fun though, its also to see how a world can evolve
due to minor changes. The players are a single unit, so there is no
greifing (plus mods check the worlds and approve them).


The only problem is, its been going slow due to the lack of people, so join in!
