Before I start, I want to state that this is my opinion. If you are hurt by this article in any way, then don't say I didn't warn you.

So the first thing I want to talk about is the new naming system that is being used for Minecraft. They combined all the console versions of minecraft (nintendo switch, windows 10, xbox, pocket edition) into one name, Minecraft, and left the original Minecraft named Minecraft: Java Edition. I'm fine with the name change, but i don't like it because they're separating Minecraft into two versions. This is going to be a recurring argument, but I feel like they are focusing more on the console versions. How come Minecraft Java Edition isn't getting the Super Duper Graphics update? Or the marketplace?

The second thing I wanted to talk about is the systems the update is being released on. I noticed that they didn't mention any playstation consoles. At first I was mad at Microsoft because I thought they didn't want to offer them the update because of their rivalry, but it turns out that they did offer Sony the update, Sony just didn't accept it. It's unknown why they didn't accept the update, but what makes me even more mad is that I don't have an Xbox. I only have a few Sony consoles and Nintendo consoles, which makes this update even more sad for me.

The third thing I wanted to talk about are the consoles. The thing that really takes the cake is that Microsoft only showed off updates for console editions of Minecraft. We never got to see them talk about the Java Edition. This shows that they have nothing new for the Minecraft Java Edition. I don't know why they won't do anything new for the Java Editon. I was really excited for the new Super Duper Graphics update, but when I found out that it was only coming on the consoles editon, it just made me mad!

In conclusion, I think Mojang should release something new and big for the Java Edition so they can show it off at E3. It's sad because Minecraft Java Edition was the original, but now they are just throwing it away and focusing more on the console editions.

One of the main reason on why they seem to ignore java is because its less profitable for them. Since you can just download free maps in here and copy+paste them on the directory yourself instead of buying one from the marketplace! And there are more adult/maturr players in the Java edition so it'll be harder for them to trick us, unlike the other platforms

The thing is with Java Edition, it has its limitations because it's written in Java. They should move it another coding language like C++, Win10 Edition has it too. That will make so many new opportunities for new updates and it will run smoother. I've been playing win10 lately because it just looks better.
