He logs onto the server for the first time. I greeted him with a friendly "hello." He said nothing. It was like this for about an hour. No conversation in a server of only two people. It was weird. I didn't know if he was kind or if he was there to cause trouble. Then it dawned on me... This was my own private server. The password to it was only known by me and my brother. I had asked my brother if he knew the guy; he said he didn't. A few weeks went by and I decided that I should try and make him talk- he had come on the server everyday from 2pm - 8pm; we had not said a word to each other. I asked him a variety of questions, to none of which he answered. It was strange. I had not said a word to him, but it felt like I knew everything about him. I decided that I would play along side him. He allowed me to do so, but that was as far us being together would go. To this day, I cannot recall his username. As of now, I just call him "Minecraft Guy." Minecraft Guy saved my life on the server more times than I can remember. He had a strangeness about him. Everytime he would go to save me from a monster, the enemies would not fight back. I respected him. I feel as though he respected me back. I remember the last day he got on the server. He and I were going into the realm known in the Minecraft community as "The End." I realize it was just a game, but the way he took on the Ender Dragon was so graceful. I tried my best to assist him, but he distracted me with his grace. The Dragon would go to strike, and he would evade in a way that would make you believe that he was one of the Pre-Alpha testers- as if he was born in the game. His final strike was the most tremendous. He seemingly leaped into the air due to the Dragon's diving attack; as he was returning to the ground, he made one final strike to the Dragon's skull with his custom sword. The Dragon was defeated. He collected the Dragon Egg and then went into the mystic fountain- never to be seen again. Minecraft Guy, if you're reading this, thank you for your grace and wonderful entertainment.
