So in my last blog, I gave ideas about recording Minecraft.  But what if your screen is huge (like mine)?  There is an easy way to have your Minecraft window open in 720p or in 1080p!  Here's what you do:

Open your Application Data folder (appdata)
Navigate into the ".minecraft" folder
Open the "options.txt" file
Find where it says "overrideWidth:0" and "overrideHeight:0"

For 720p in Windows input:
overrideWidth:1296
overrideHeight:758

For 720p in Mac input:
overrideWidth:1280
overrideHeight:.742

NOTICE: For 1080p, you have to have a full-HD monitor!

For 1080p in Windows input:
overrideWidth:1936
overrideHeight:1118

For 1080p in Mac input:
overrideWidth:1920
overrideHeight:1102

Formula for resolution on Windows:
overrideWidth:(width you want + 16)
overrideHeight:(height you want + 38)

Formula for resolution on Mac:
overrideWidth:(width you want)
overrideHeight:(height you want + 22)
