MINECRAFT 12W34A RELEASED LONG AWAITED BLOCKS FINALLY MADE PUBLIC
Well everybody who uses snapshots, like myself have been waiting for the long-awaited flower pots,potatos,carrots,item frames and INVISIBILITY!
Here is a screenshot of all plands as of 12w34a(i used item frames to make it look cool and to prove that i had it :)

note:the potatos are next to the carrots and melon stalks
And can you see how i put the cacti in the flower pot?

A bug with 12w34b i discovered:NETHER WARTS GROW IN OVERWORLD AND THE END BUT MUCH SLOWER THAN NETHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111one
Other things making news:
New wither mob:a true mob that will stay or a withered idea?

The new upcoming Wither mob, first introduced in 12w34a; does not yet spawn naturally, but by slightly changing the wither boss's code in the minecraft.jar and using /give <Playername> 383 64 64 you can spawn the wither.
Minecraft 12w36 or 35a?
The next snapshot will be downright exiting!
Things that will be added in the next snapshot:

• Skeleton heads as decoration blocks
  
• Zombies carry blocks for their voyages!
  

• Rideable Pigs with direction control

  
  
  
• You've been able to ride a pig for quite some time now, ever since 2010, but you've never been able to control their direction. In the next snapshot (likely to be 12w36a), you'll be able to control the direction of the pig, just like you're riding a horse. You'll get a first person view on top of the pigs back (see image).To control a pig you'll need to combine a fishing rod with the new carrot vegetable. You'll then be able to dangle the carrot in front of the pig to tempt him in one direction or another. Pigs need to accelerate up to their top speed but once achieved, pigs can travel at about 5 blocks per second.
  
• Customizable Superflat worlds!Players will be able to choose the exact block type and depth for their custom SuperFlat worlds. Choose any block type, the number of layers and the starting height (y offset) and let minecraft build that world for you. No more need for map editors when you've got these quick world customization option
