Minecraft: Day 1
It's cold here.
Snow covers everything.
There is no life.
It seems that I am the only one here
The sun rises.
I watch
For a few seconds,
But then I move on.
I seek
A home.
But not just anything
Will do.
The trees
That felt so hostile
Before
Are starting to feel like my friends.
I speak to them.
Am I going mad?
There is a small
Ravine.
A single pine
Grows in the center.
It is the sign I needed.
Home.
I made sticks.
Then
I put pieces of wood
And stone
On top.
This is what I have
To survive.
I find a lone wolf
Wandering near my
Ravine.
It falls in.
I want it to be my friend.
But I have nothing to give it.
So
I trap it in
A dirt hut.
I will decide
What to do with it
Later.
What is there to eat
In this
Strange
Blocky world?
My stomach hurts.
I finally find
A pink block.
It moves.
Is this food?
Should I attack?
My stomach growls and
The pink turns.
Hunger has turned me mad,
I butcher it.
The world swims
Before my eyes.
The pains in my stomach
Are much
Much
Worse now.
It is night.
I want something
To give
My new friend
The wolf.
I bet it likes bones.
I venture out
Into the wilderness.
I hear something call out
In the night
And hear something whizz
Past my head.
A dead man
His bones picked clean
Walks toward me.
He holds a bow.
Do I want a new friend this badly?
The skeleton continues
It's steady hobble.
I see it aim
But I am unable to move.
Then the world goes red.
I am back in the cold
Forest
Where I started.
Everything that I was carrying
Is gone.
But I see
The glow of my home
In the distance.
It's all I want right now.
Home.
