-Roughly 23 MILLION Minecraft Accounts have been registered.

Can you see the problem?
For most of us, this isn't a problem, and we never realize it; But the rest of us are suffering. Recently, I decided that it was time to change my Minecraft name. After countless (Yes, Countless) hours on Mcskinsearch.com of trying to find a username that wasn't used, I decided to stick with "Razmo", it was Short, Catchy, and Original! I got attached to this username, and recreated most of my online profiles to my new name! A few days later, I purchased a Minecraft Gift Code, and was ready to buy my new account, only to realize that "Razmo" was registered...

Back to the drawing board..
Countless (Yes, Countless... Again..) hours of username searching were spent trying to find my new identity; thus, Unsolar was born!!! <3 :D

Concluding..
Overall, i'm happy I have my current username :D but this may not be the case for other people. Mojang has a major flaw in their system, that allows randoms, trolls, jerks, etc.. to register somebodys account, and just basically lock it. Mojang has no system for the release of Minecraft accounts! And this is a MAJOR FLAW! A fix to this whole mess would to make accounts only allowed to be registered for 3 months without buying a Premium! The account would be released, and a paying customer could get the username of his wishes! :D

I agree. I was going to register a name and It was already taken; thus being said; a troll took it. Mojang should try deleting all unused accounts so people can actually have the usernames.

The sad part is, most of the awesome names are registered but not bought. I realized this when making my second account.

any game that is popular and has unique usernames has this issue, a way they could solve it is to allow longer names or allow special characters in usernames... good thing i signed up in alpha to get my normal gaming username
