Minecraft Shaders (GLSL&SEUS) for 1.4.5 - Tutorial

Welcome Ladies and Gentleblocks to a fairly short but useful tutorial for the latest Minecraft version 1.4.5. Specifically, how to install both GLSL and SEUS shaders (recognisable by the vivid colours, swaying leaves and dynamic shadows!).

There are 3 things that you'll need to download in order to make this work.

Download all 3 required files from the forum post below!

Step 1 - Download a fresh version of Minecraft by clicking Options>Force Update on the login screen

Step 2 - Delete the META-INF folder by using your preferred minecraft.jar editor (just like if you were installing a normal mod)
Step 2.5 - Unzip ALL .zip files that you have downloaded

Step 3 - Drag and Drop ALL the OptiFine files into your minecraft.jar
Step 3.5 - SAVE

Step 4 - Drag and Drop ALL the GLSL files into your minecraft.jar
Step 4.5 - SAVE

Step 5 - Rename the folder "v08" INSIDE the unzipped folder to "shaders" exactly like I have written

Step 6 - Drag and Drop the ENTIRE "shaders" folder into your minecraft.jar
Step 6.5 - SAVE

Step 7 - Enjoy your shaders!

ok everyone who is having lag, you NEED a good cpu (i5 or FX or something) and a good gpu! (GT 630 and up. and amd 6000 series and up are recommended). so if you have like a cheap hp laptop with intel graphics, forget it. it will lag like hell. intel graphics aren't designed for gaming. they are designed for hd movies and stuff.

I downloaded, got everything running, selected the "shaders" folder, and nothing happens.
