Introduction
So, I've noticed I have been getting a lot of views and support on my other blog (Minecraft Enchantment IDs) and in result I have created this new blog all about Status Effect IDs. Many people like me always ask:What are the Status Effect IDs? What do they do? What are there effect IDs?
Here I will list them, and for those of you who don't know, In cheat mode you can use /effect to give a specific player or entity a Status Effect. And if you are to lazy to use this list than just install TooManyItems [TMI] and use the potion effect tab there, but they only give you potions.
Status Effect IDs
1 - Speed
2 - Slowness
3 - Haste
4 - Mining Fatigue
5 - Strength
6 - Instant Health
7 - Instant Damage
8 - Jump Boost
9 - Nausea
10 - Regeneration
11 - Resistance
12 - Fire Resistance
13 - Water Breathing
14 - Invisibility
15 - Blindness
16 - Night Vision
17 - Hunger
18 - Weakness
19 - Poison
20 - Wither
21 - Health Boost
22 - Absorption
23 - Saturation
Enchantment Description
- Speed: Speed increases by 20% with each additional level.
- Slowness: Speed decreases by 15% with each additional level.
- Haste: Digging speed increases by 20% with each additional level.
- Mining Fatigue: Digging speed decreases by 20% with each additional level.
- Strength: Increases damage dealt with melee attacks by 130% (Strength II is 260%, Strength III is 390%, etc.).
- Instant Health: Heals 4 (♥♥) to players. Undead mobs are dealt 6 (♥♥♥) damage.
- Instant Damage: Damages 6 (♥♥♥) to players. Undead mobs are healed by 6 (♥♥♥).
- Jump Boost: Allows the player to jump higher by about 1/2 block. Reduces fall damage by 1 (♥) each level.
- Nausea: No Effect but wobbles and warps the screen.
- Regeneration: Regenerate half a heart over time every 50 ticks/2.5 seconds.
- Resistance: Reduces damage by 20% with each additional level.
- Fire Resistance: Immune to fire and lava.
- Water Breathing: Prevents the oxygen bar from decreasing.
- Invisibility: Causes the entity model to disappear.
- Blindness: Creates thick black fog around the player.
- Night Vision: Increases brightness to 15 (full) everywhere.
- Hunger: Causes food meter to deplete by 0.025 food exhaustion per tick.
- Weakness: Decreases damage dealt with melee attacks by 0.5 damage (0.25 heart).
- Poison: Does 1 half a heart of damage every 25 ticks/1.25 seconds until the player or mob is at hal a heart of health.
- Wither: Does 1 half a heart of damage every 40 ticks/2 seconds (unlike poison, the effect can kill players and other entities).
- Health Boost: Adds 4 (♥♥) base health; extra health vanish when the effect ends.
- Absorption: Adds 4 (♥♥)absorption health that cannot be replenished by natural regeneration or other effects. Absorption health vanish when the effect ends.
- Saturation: Causes food meter to be replenished by half a heart per tick.
