So, I was playing in my new world. I built a house in the middle of a lake, so I used a boat a lot and I discovered a little boost. It's good especially when you have a house in the middle of an OCEAN.
So, I'll try to explain it in a few steps.
Step 1: Sprint and get in the boat
Step 2: Ride the boat and keep sprinting (keep holding the "W" button)
Step 3: Hit the boat and you will do the boost
Step 4 (optional): Crash
This will really help you on long travels. You can use it once from surface though, but you can build some blocks above the water and you can just get out of the boat, sprint on the block again and use the boost again and again.
