Hello again PMC! I have a lot of ideas for Minecraft that I think would be cool to have in the future, so I decided to post about it. Anyway, here's my list of ideas:
The build used in the screenshot was made by me since one of the ideas is an end update.
- New end biomes and structures.
- Nether villages. Piglins would live in them and could have professions, like how villagers work. There could be variants like warped forest, crimson forest, and basalt deltas.
- An overworld themed boss. What I mean is we have the ender dragon in the end and the wither, which is built with wither skeleton skulls, so why not have a boss you can spawn in the overworld? Maybe we could finally see the red dragon in-game.
- New ways to reach dimensions. What if we made bedrock mineable, but still harder than obsidian, and going below it took you to the nether, then going even farther down took you to the end?
- On the topic of dimensions, how about more of them? There could be a space dimension similar to the end but instead of floating islands, there would be asteroids and then a moon farther above that.
- More forest biomes. There's a few forest biomes but there's only 1 for every wood type, with the exception of the taiga and giant tree taiga. There could be more forests with the same wood types, or more wood types to go with the new forests.
- More weapon types. We already have 6 swords and the trident, but why not add more? There could also be more bow types, like iron and diamond bows.
- Netherrack and basalt can't craft stone tools, but they're still stones. Since the nether is hard to get to in the first place, stone becoming even more common won't be much of an issue, so why not make them usable for recipes like stone axes?
- Skills. Leveling up skills could make you mine faster or unlock new things, similar to Hypixel Skyblock's skill system.
- Idea by Queen Vestrala - A cooking update! You could bake cakes in the furnace or things like chicken with carrots and potatoes. Maybe you would make cake batter instead and put it in the furnace?
- Idea by THGDHC123 - An inside texture for chests. Why do shulker boxes and ender chests have inside textures but not the oldest storage block in the game?
