Hey guys! My minedea I am going to talk about today is the Dimensions Mod. This mod would add a bunch of new items, some new mobs, and a few new dimensions as well. The first new item would be a block called a Dimension-ator, which when placed would look similar but not the same as a dispenser. It can be powered by redstone to do the same things as a dispenser, but has one more feature, that I will talk about later.
The next new item is called Strange Essence, which could be placed inside a Dimension-ator and shot out. When this action would happen, it would behave like a fire charge, only it wouldn't set on fire when it hit something. If it hit a player, though, it would teleport them to a randomly chosen new dimension. Some of which are listed in the next paragraph.
Some of the New Dimensions:
The Upside-Down Dimension
Picture the minecraft world in any way possible. Now picture the trees at the bottom and the dirt at the top. That's basically what this dimension is. In order to get materials, you need to go up! There is also one new ore in this dimension: Magnet Ore (rarer then diamond ore). This ore can be smelted into Magnet, which can be used to craft Anti-Gravity Boots. When worn, the boots change gravity to the opposite of what it already is. So, it can be easier to get around in the upside-down dimension.
The Cookie Dimension
As the title explains, This dimension involves cookies. Cookie dirt, Cookie trees, Cookie stone, and yes, Cookie monsters. This dimension would add cookie monsters and cookie monster houses (houses very rare). This would also add cookie mobs, like cookie pigs, wolves, and cows! You can kill these mobs to get cookies.
The Floating-Islands Dimension
This dimension, as the name suggests, is made up of floating islands. You know skyblock? It's like that, only there are a ton of them and there are different kinds. One kind of island is the basic island, which has a tree and a chest (all chests have random neccesities). Then there is the dungeon island, where there is a building made of stone bricks and a new monster inside called the Hawk of Skylands, which you must fight to get the goodies in the chest it is guarding! There is also another rarely spawning monster called the Golden Dragon, which you can fight to get the Holy Hand Grenade, a new item that acts like a grenade but kills enemies instantly. The last example of an island would be the oresome island (EXTREMELY RARE) that is loaded with ore like diamonds and iron.
The Space Dimension
This dimension takes place in space. The area is mainly a dark area that you can jump around in and take no fall damage. This dimension has many cool lands to visit, like the sun. This area is basically a land of lava, so it is suggested you don't visit it. There is also a type of planet called Earth, where there are mobs called People, which rome around with the same A.I. as villagers. There are also cities where they live. The next planet is the planet Mars, which is basically lifeless, except for the martians and there civilizations and spaceships. They are hostile, and they will use there space guns to kill you. You can get a space gun by killing them, along with alien pelt, which can be crafted to alien armor, which will make you look like an alien and they won't chase you.
The Christmas Dimension
This dimension is, well, Christmas themed! It is full of snow and candy canes are lined up everywhere, and there are christmas trees, and three new mobs: The Santa, The Penguin, and The Reindeer. The Santa will give you presents, which have random goodies inside! The Penguin will slide across the icy land towars you, and if you feed it raw fish, you can keep it as a pet! Finally, you can get a reindeer with a saddle and ride of into the sunset- literally! They are the first rideble flying mob! hhere are also randomley spawning Santa's Workshops, which have presents in them and Santa!
The Creeper Dimension
The creeper dimension is a dimension where everything is creeper: Creeper mobs like wolves and pigs, creeper dirt/stone/blocks in general, friendly creepers in creeper villages, and, of course, regular creepers. This dimension adds creeper homes, which spawn baby creepers, which become adult creepers in the future. From creeper babies, you can get creeper binkies, which give you the ability to blow things up!
The Cave Dimension
The cave dimension is basically a never ending system of caves, where there is no way out. You have to mine for your life. But, still there are beautiful scenery areas such as giant waterfalls and lavafalls, giant statues and worshipers of the statues (a new mob), where if you try to destroy even a block of the statue, they will make sure you die. There are also new mobs: Old Man, who hides in the caves and waits for somebody to get him something in return for a ring, which when used turns you invisible. Then there are also Cave Trolls, who try to protect the caves from you.
Well, that's all of the examples I have, I hope you guys like the mod idea!
