i have quite a lot of ideas.
1. Shooting stars. you see them at night and if you look the way it is travelling you may see a giant explosion in the distance. Walk to where you saw the explosion and the star will be at the bottom of a big crater. Break the star to get star shards. You can craft armour, swords, tools and a star block with the shards. Star is the strongest material and doesnt degrade! It is very rare to find a star. Also you may be lucky enough to find a star egg which will look like Yellow ender dragon eggs and will hatch a mob that looks like a minecraft version of a mario star. You will have to feed it golden apples and it will be your own pet!
