So here are my ideas for the 'Minedeas Contest'
I have been working really hard on thinking of these and they have taken a while.
I hope you consider choosing me as first place; I would be so happy.
Without further ado; my ideas!
Natural Disasters: Tornadoes, tsunamis, earthquakes, heat waves, hurricanes and more.
Insect World: Teleport to a whole new world where you are the size of a silverfish and you must beware of insects.
EnchantStone: You can find rare ores eg: water, fire and leaf gems and they can be used for giving your sword special powers.
GrapplingHook: You can easy swing yourself up a mountain.
Grapes: You can pick grapes off of trees. You can then make wine or grape-juice.
Thirstbar: You have a bar above the Hunger bar which is thirst. To fill this up you drink milk or water. If your thirst bar gets too low you start hallucinating and you die. (You could also add other drinks)
Stained Glass Window: You can design your own window using dye.
Branches: Branches come out of trees and if they are broken they drop sticks.
Piranhas: Piranhas are small fish which attack you in the sea. Once killed they have a 1/5 chance of dropping an egg, if they drop one you can put it in the water and it hatches after 2-3 minecraft days. It then stays there and attacks any other mobs apart from you.
Mermaid: Legs turn into a tail when underwater, can breathe underwater, fast-moving in water.
Rainbows: Not like solid pixel ones, but smooth pretty ones after it rains.
Centaur: Faster running speed, part horse (as a centaur is) starts with a bow-and-arrow.
Friend mod: You can craft a friend and it will helps you with mining, building etc.
Tribes: You can find travelling Tribes in different places. There are Elves, Dwarves, Barbarians, Romans and many more. Some are peaceful but some want you dead.
Sky Biomes: Floating islands with little amount of trees on them. There could be birds or something.
Assassin Villagers: They are evil villagers who try to kill you. It adds the tension to go around a NPC Village as you don't know where he will pop out. He has a iron sword.
Knives: You can hit with them just like a sword, but if you right click you throw them.
Spears: You can hit with them just like a sword, but if you right click you throw them.
Ruby: You can find Ruby underground. It can be less rare than Diamonds but more rare than Iron. You could make ruby blocks and ruby armor.
Polar Bears: In day they don't attack you unless you attack them. At night they target you and kill you. They are in Arctic and Tundra biomes.
Walruses: They occasionally attack you but only if they feel you are a risk, they are mainly peaceful and they go in Arctic and Tundra biomes.
Icebergs: In the sea there could be massive blocks of ice and snow.
Frogs: Peaceful, live in Swamps on lily-pads.
DinoDimension: You make a portal out of bricks and you set it on fire. You go in and you are in a Dinosaur World. There are some dinosaurs; some nice, some bad.
Seasons: There could be Summer, Autumn, Spring and Winter. In different seasons different animals come out more often; like in the Winter animals could hide in caves and stuff where-as in Summer they are out more often.
Hedgehogs: They hide in little holes and mobs target them. The mobs get hurt when they attack them due to the prickles.
Mosquitos: Mosquitos can be tiny flying bugs which attack you at night. They can inject infections and poison into you, you will then have the poison effect where you lose health.
Shields: You can craft shields and they give you more protection. You can make them out of: Iron, Gold, Diamond, Wood + Stone
Moon: You can craft mini rockets and you can put them on your back. At Night-time you can fly up and when you get so high in the sky the loading screen comes on saying 'You are now entering the Moon'. On the Moon there are huge crater holes and you can jump high, you fall down slowly. There is no animal life or plant life. You can gather Moonstone.
Crossbow: Takes ages to reload and ages to aim, but once shot its power is the same as two hits from a diamond sword.
Igloo: In snow areas you can find Igloos with peaceful Eskimos in them.
EnderEgg: The Dragon Egg you get from killing the EnderDragon is pretty useless unless you are trying to show off that you killed it. I think that it should hatch after a while revealing a smaller tamed Enderdragon. You could ride it and shoot out fire. It could fly and be extra quick.
So there are my ideas, I may add more if I have time.
