Then this is a great article for you! I, Tricast, will accept ideas to put in a youtube video of mod ideas for people to watch. Modders, if you see anything you like, use it! The ideas here are free to use! so to start it off, here's the format to post and an example:

This mod allows a block known as magic sand to spawn randomly anywhere in the world. Magic Sand is explosive resistant, like obsidian, but cannot be mined with a diamond pickaxe, shovel, axe, or sword. it requires a wooden pickaxe or lower to obtain. Magic sand is twice as rare as diamonds and comes in veins of one. If you combine any non enchanted item with magic sand, the item will have a green glow and becomes indestructable by fire, lava, or despawn time.

Mod description: A mod that allows to build Mechanical Exoskeletal Combat enHancers (Or M.E.C.Hs for short). These armors are built off one suit, which you can upgrade to the next tier, until it cannot be upgraded anymore. The suit would be built using a core recipe of iron, redstone and wood, until it can be upgraded. The recipe would be as follows:
W=Wood I=Iron R=Redstone

This base suit would be as strong as iron, but would last as long as diamonds. It would give you a simple jump and speed boost. The other Suits after it would give you those bonuses more so than the last. They would be able to harness flamethrowers, machine guns, missiles and other weapons.
